Andre is known for his warm and insightful teaching style, which fosters technical excellence, expressive interpretation, and a deep connection to music. Fluent in both English and Portuguese, he tailors each lesson to the unique needs and goals of the student, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and creativity.
His playing has received high praise from critics and musical legends alike. The late pianist Nelson Freire remarked on his “singular musical sensibility and power of communication,” and Juilliard faculty member György Sandor praised his Mussorgsky performance as “an outstanding and beautiful interpretation.”
Whether preparing students for performances, guiding adult learners, or nurturing a child’s first musical steps, Andre brings world-class experience and heartfelt dedication to every lesson.
