Voice, Piano, Ukulele

Phoebe Nah teaches general music at an elementary school in Dallas, and has been immersed in music from a very young age. She first found her love for music when joining a church choir at the age of four and started taking piano lessons at the age of six. In high school, she taught herself to play ukulele and is currently learning how to play the guitar.

Before moving back to the Dallas area in 2020, Phoebe received her Bachelor of Music Education degree with a concentration in Choral music from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She spent all four years of college in the U of I Women's Glee Club under the direction of Andrea Solya, and even had the privilege of being the assistant conductor for a semester. Phoebe has recently joined The Women's Chorus of Dallas under the direction of Melinda Imthurn in order to further her skills as a musician and gain inspiration as a music teacher. She also plans to pursue her Master's in Music Education at the University of North Texas.

Phoebe believes in a well-rounded music education for her students, so her lessons will not only consist of rehearsing and memorizing songs but will also cover sight-reading, music theory, and basic chords so that her students can utilize their skills in real life. With these skills, students will be able to play in a band or accompany themselves while singing. Phoebe's top priority is that her students have fun and enjoy the learning process of becoming excellent musicians!
