Jazzmond Robinson is a distinguished jazz pianist whose musical journey began with the trombone in elementary school, evolving into a profound passion for piano under the guidance of his grandfather, the Late Charles E. Johnson.

Influenced by the rich tapestry of jazz, Jazzmond's musical odyssey led him to explore the works of iconic pianists such as Oscar Peterson, Art Tatum, Hank Jones, and Fats Waller, igniting his dedication to the art form.

During his formative years at Texas Southern University, Jazzmond founded the acclaimed jazz trio, Distinguished Gentlemen, marking the inception of his professional career. His performances alongside esteemed artists including the late Dr. Latonya Earl, Shawn McLemore, and Regina Belle, reflect his versatility and mastery of the jazz idiom. Notably, Jazzmond's talent graced the stage of the Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX, captivating 30,000 spectators.

Jazzmond's has shared the stage with luminaries such as Spyro Gyra and Lee Ritenour, and served as the pianist for The Krusaders 2.0, led by the late Joe Sample. His artistic contributions have been recognized internationally, earning nominations for prestigious awards including the 2016 Edmonton Music Academy Awards and securing accolades such as the Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles and the special prize at the 2018 Bucharest Jazz Competition and Festival.

Renowned for his innovative compositions, from the evocative "100 Degrees in the Snow" to the dynamic "Creeping," Robinson's music embodies a complexity of style and rhythm, characterized by his signature big chords and agile fingers.

Today, Jazzmond Robinson is not only performing, but is focused on teaching the next generation of musicians, teaching in a fun manner, all while diving deep in to the mechanics of piano playing.
