Regina Goolsby is a dedicated music educator with a lifelong passion for music. From her earliest memories, Regina has been immersed in the world of music, finding solace and expression through its melodies and rhythms. Her journey began in grade 5 when she delivered her first solo performance, captivating her audience with a rendition of "Over the Rainbow." Since that momentous occasion, music has been an inseparable part of Regina's life.
Currently pursuing a music therapy degree at Lone Star College and Sam Houston, Regina is committed to deepening her understanding of how music can heal and transform lives. With an upcoming audition for the program in April, Regina is eager to embark on this next chapter of her musical journey, with hopes of making a meaningful impact through her craft.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Regina finds joy and fulfillment in sharing her musical expertise with others. As a regular performer at open mic nights in her local town, she embraces opportunities to connect with audiences through her soulful performances. Additionally, Regina devotes her time and energy to teaching the fundamentals of music to young children aged 2 to 5 years old every Tuesday and Friday.
Witnessing the joy and wonder on her students' faces as they grasp musical concepts is a source of immense satisfaction for Regina. Beyond imparting technical skills, she endeavors to instill in her young learners a profound appreciation for the power of music as a tool for emotional expression and self-discovery. Through her instruction in ukulele and guitar, Regina not only teaches her students their favorite songs but also encourages them to convey their emotions through their music.
